The Cambridge English Teaching Framework underpins all of our qualifications for teachers, and supports teachers at every stage of their career.

There are four stages of teacher development, from Foundation to Expert, and five categories of teaching knowledge and skills.

By using the framework, you can see where you are in your development and think about where you want to go next.

The Cambridge English Trainer Framework works alongside the Cambridge English Teaching Framework and helps trainers to identify where they are in their professional career, and plan professional development pathways.
